Police FC have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of experienced midfielder Deus Bukenya, who has penned a two-year deal with the Cops.
The versatile star joins from Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar, where he commanded the midfield over the last two seasons.
His arrival signals real intent from Police FC as they gear up for the new Uganda Premier League campaign.

A proven winner, Bukenya brings with him an enviable pedigree, having lifted the league crown twice, first with Vipers SC in 2015 and later with Express FC in 2021.
Known primarily as a rock in defensive midfield, he also offers flexibility as a right back, making him a valuable addition to the squad.
He is widely seen as the natural replacement for Timothy Muwanguzi, who recently switched to NEC FC.
Bukenya now headlines an impressive recruitment drive by Police FC that has already delivered Richard Matovu (left back, from Vipers), Charles Bbaale (striker, formerly SC Villa), alongside Stephen Namaisi, Benon Tahomera, Saidi Kyeyune, and Lawrence Tezikya Enzo.
With the new season beckoning, Police FC will be setting up their fortress at the Kiira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya, where the Cops hope to unleash their rejuvenated squad and make a statement of intent.
