FUFA Women Super League Kicks Off in October

Uganda’s top-tier women’s football is back, bigger and bolder, as the 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League roars into action on Friday, October 3, 2025.

The season curtain-raiser is nothing short of a blockbuster as four-time champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies welcome last season’s gallant runners-up Kampala Queens at the iconic Kawempe Muslim Ground.

The drama spills into Saturday, October 4, with three sizzling encounters lined up.

Asubo Ladies square off against the resilient She Maroons at Kampala Quality Ground, while She Corporate lock horns with Uganda Martyrs at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Over in Soroti, crowd-favorites Amus College test their strength against a fiery St Noa Girls Zana outfit.

The action-packed first round winds up on Sunday, October 5, with Lady Doves clashing with Olila High School at Katusabe Ground, and Makerere University reigniting their rivalry against Rines SS at the heart of Makerere.

All fixtures are set for 10 a.m. kick-offs, ensuring fans enjoy synchronized thrills across the country.

In a bold move to spread the beautiful game even wider, FUFA has unveiled an expanded list of approved venues for this campaign.

New battlegrounds include Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Phillip Omondi Stadium Lugogo, Olila Ground Soroti, Wankulukuku Stadium, St Gerald Ground UMHS, and Prisons Ground Luzira, a testament to the league’s growth and rising stature.
