The full line-up and match schedule for the 2026 Commonwealth Games netball tournament has been officially confirmed, with hosts Glasgow unveiling the groups and fixtures for next year’s showpiece.
Twelve of the world’s top netball nations, Uganda included, will battle for supremacy over a nine-day spectacle running from Saturday, 25 July to Sunday, 2 August 2026.
Uganda’s She Cranes, ranked seventh globally, have been placed in Pool B, a section that promises intense competition.
They will face world No.2 New Zealand and third-ranked Jamaica, along with Wales (6), Scotland (10), and Trinidad & Tobago (11).

Pool B: New Zealand (2), Jamaica (3), Wales (6), Uganda (7), Scotland (10), Trinidad & Tobago (11)
Uganda swings into action on the opening day with a tricky clash against Wales before taking on Trinidad & Tobago in their second outing.
The She Cranes will then enter a stern stretch, meeting Jamaica and New Zealand on back-to-back nights, and will wrap up their pool campaign against hosts Scotland.

- Monday, July 27: Jamaica vs Uganda – 10:00 p.m.

- Thursday, July 30: Uganda vs Scotland – 12:00 noon
The She Cranes head into Glasgow 2026 hoping to build on their recent upward trajectory at the Games. They made their debut in 2018 in Gold Coast, finishing 6th, before improving to 5th in Birmingham in 2022.
With a mix of ambition, experience, and growing global respect, Uganda will be eyeing another breakthrough performance on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
