Vipers, Villa Brace for High-Voltage Showdown Under Kitende Lights

A blockbuster clash awaits under the Saturday night lights at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende as defending favourites Vipers lock horns with a resurgent SC Villa in a contest already shaping early-season title narratives.

The Venoms have flown out of the blocks with a flawless four wins from four, displaying authority at both ends of the pitch.

Their visitors, Villa, arrive equally charged sitting second on the log and riding a five-match winning wave after shaking off opening stumbles against KCCA and Entebbe UPPC.

Vipers’ midfield dynamo Allan Okello insists the hosts are primed to extend their perfect run.

“Everyone is locked in and understands the mission,” Okello noted with conviction. “If we maintain the grit and intensity we’ve shown, we shall take the day.”

Head coach Jacky struck a similarly bullish tone, emphasizing that belief is their engine.
“We don’t need any extraordinary gimmicks,” he remarked. “A winning mentality is already woven into this team’s DNA.”

On the other side, SC Villa forward and former Vipers prodigy Najib Yiga expects nothing short of a fiery spectacle—but remains unfazed by the challenge ahead.

“We want to stay consistent,” Yiga stated. “They’re a strong side, but we are equally competitive. There’s no pressure because the coach gives us the liberty to express ourselves.”

Yiga further underlined Villa’s readiness to storm Kitende with purpose.
“We are physically, mentally and emotionally set. We believe we can return home with a favourable result.”

With both clubs in red-hot form, the Kitende clash promises intensity, ambition and early implications in the hunt for the 2025/26 crown.
