The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 continued to deliver thrilling knockout drama across the country, with several big names safely navigating their way into the round of 32.
At the St Charles Lwanga playground in Koboko, Entebbe Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) Football Club booked their place in the next stage after edging Ombachi Pride 1-0 in a tense encounter played under heavy rains.
Second half substitute Fazil “Chopra” Tumwine proved to be the difference maker, firing in the decisive goal to send the Printers through in a match that tested both sides due to the slippery conditions.
Elsewhere, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) also secured passage to the round of 32 following a narrow but important 1-0 away victory over Patongo United in Agago District.

Joshua “Letti” Lubwama struck as early as the 6th minute, and URA held firm defensively to protect the lead and grind out a result in a tough environment.
In Soroti, Kitara FC continued their Cup journey with a hard-earned 1-0 win over Obule Earth Quake, ensuring they remain in contention for the prestigious trophy.
Lugazi FC also advanced from Kampala, overcoming Kisugu United 2-1 despite finishing the match with ten men, showing resilience in a tie that demanded discipline and composure.

In West Nile, Maroons FC survived a stern test at Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo District, defeating Paidha United 2-1. Brian Nkuubi Ssemakula and Dickson Niwamanya scored the goals that pushed the Prison Warders into the next round.
NEC FC registered a solid 2-0 victory over Mabira Town Council at the Nyakasanga playground in Kasese. Allan Mugalu and Mohammed Kagawa struck in the second half to seal the win for the visitors.
Sports Club Villa also avoided an upset in Pallisa, battling to a 2-1 victory over Pallisa Hospital FC. David Owori broke the deadlock just after the half-hour mark, giving Villa a crucial advantage in a match that required patience and determination.
Meanwhile, Police FC were among the most convincing winners of the day, sweeping aside Mayirwe 3-0. Umar Kasumba opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Charles Bbaale netted a brace to complete the job.
