Vipers Unveil Congolese Striker Glodi Beyuku

Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers SC have moved swiftly in the transfer market with the capture of Congolese striker Glodi Beyuku Munsi.

The 23-year-old forward becomes the Venoms’ first signing of the current transfer window after completing his move at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, a deal that signals the club’s continued hunger for trophies and dominance.

Beyuku joins from DR Congo giants AS Vita Club, where he enjoyed an impressive spell in front of goal.

The striker scored 10 league goals last season and had already registered two goals in the ongoing campaign before sealing his switch to Uganda.

Beyuku’s development has been shaped by spells at OC Renaissance and AS Dauphins Noir, experiences that refined his movement, composure and finishing instincts.

Known for his sharp positioning and ability to operate in tight spaces, he is a striker who thrives on exploiting defensive gaps and punishing mistakes inside the box.

At Kitende, however, the challenge will be immediate. Beyuku will wear shirt number 23 and must compete for a place in a packed attacking department that includes Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo, Mark Yallah, Kenneth Kimera, Isaac Ogwang and captain Milton Karisa.
