Bulemeezi Ssaza has officially rolled out its technical team ahead of the 2026 Masaza Cup, with experienced tactician Edward Golola taking up an advisory role.
The announcement was made on Wednesday during a media briefing at the team’s headquarters in Bbowa, where management outlined a refreshed structure aimed at reclaiming past glory.
At the helm is Leo Ssekamatte, who steps into the head coach position after previously serving as a fitness trainer with Kyaggwe.
He will be supported by Anthony Bongole as first assistant and Nasib Mukasa as second assistant, forming a new technical trio tasked with guiding the side back to title contention.
Golola, a familiar figure in Ugandan football circles with past stints at Vipers SC and URA FC, joins the setup as technical advisor, bringing valuable experience to the dugout.

The rest of the backroom staff includes Bukenya Grace as goalkeepers coach, Hiisa Joel handling performance analysis, and James Chamali in charge of fitness and conditioning.
Bulemeezi will be eager to bounce back after a disappointing outing in the previous edition where they failed to progress beyond the group stage. Despite that setback, the Ssaza remains one of the competition’s notable forces, having lifted the trophy three times in 2012, 2019, and 2023.
Meanwhile, reigning champions Buweekula head into the new campaign with confidence after edging Ssingo 1-0 in last year’s final at Nakivubo Stadium to secure their maiden title.
