Paidha Black Angels made home advantage count in Zombo, grinding out a 1-0 victory against Mbale Heroes in a closely fought encounter.
At Hamz Stadium in Kampala, Wakiso Giants claimed maximum points courtesy of Davis Kakande’s decisive strike in a 1-0 win over Kiyindi Boys.
The action had kicked off on Saturday with Soltilo Bright Stars FC snatching a 1-0 away win against CATDA at the Bugolobi Coffee Grounds. An unfortunate own goal by goalkeeper Ashiraf Sozzi separated the sides and handed Bright Stars all three points.
