Reigning Masaza Cup champions Buddu FC will take on Buweekula Saza Team in a crucial fundraising match aimed at supporting their ailing player, Martin Nsubuga Nabutono.
The highly anticipated game is scheduled for February 14, 2025, at Kasana Playground in Nyendo, Masaka.

Martin Nsubuga’s health took a tragic turn after he was pierced by a nail during a training session on Monday, February 3. Initially, he disregarded the injury, but his condition worsened, leading to his urgent admission to Mulago Hospital.
He was later transferred to Roswell Hospital in Kampala, where he is currently fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His family faces an overwhelming financial burden, requiring UGX 2 million per day to sustain his medical care.

As a show of solidarity, Buddu FC and Buweekula have rallied to organize this fundraising match, calling upon all football stakeholders, fans, and well-wishers to come out in large numbers and contribute towards saving Nsubuga’s life.
The match is expected to draw a huge crowd, with proceeds going directly to cover his medical expenses.
Football has always been a game of unity, and this moment presents an opportunity for the football fraternity to stand together in support of one of their own. Every ticket bought, every donation made, and every fan in attendance will make a significant difference in Martin Nsubuga’s fight for survival.
Let’s turn up and make a difference on February 14 at Kasana Recreation Playground in Nyendo, Masaka!
