The Buganda Regional League continues this weekend with a thrilling lineup of fixtures as struggling and in-form sides collide across various venues.
At Kasanda Ssaza Grounds, Super Eagles Lugongwe will be desperate to register their first win of the campaign when they welcome Simba FC.
Super Eagles have endured a rough start to the season, falling 3–1 to Kajjansi United before succumbing to a narrow 1–0 defeat at the hands of Nantabulirwa FC.
Elsewhere, Masaka City SC will be bracing for a stern test as they entertain the in-form Kajjansi United at Nyendo Masaka Grounds.
Kajjansi have been the team to beat so far, winning all their three outings with commanding performances.
They opened with a 3–1 triumph over Super Eagles Lugongwe, edged Synergy FC 1–0, and comfortably dispatched Nyendo FC 3–0. Another victory in Masaka would further cement their place among the early pacesetters.
Meanwhile, Manyangwa FC will host Buikwe Red Stars at Gayaza Church Lufula Grounds, eyeing a strong home performance to build consistency.
Seeta United will also be in action against Kiboga United at Seeta Church of Uganda Grounds, a clash expected to be tightly contested given both sides’ competitive starts to the season.
In Bombo, Young Simba FC will lock horns with Wobulenzi United at the Military Barracks Grounds, while Nyendo FC seek redemption when they take on Kira United at Kyetume Lwetamu Grounds.
Rounding off the weekend, Buwambo United will travel to Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds to face Uganda Sports Arena, in what promises to be a hard-fought encounter.
