CATDA FC Part Ways with George ‘Best’ Nsimbe

FUFA Big League outfit CATDA FC have officially brought an end to the tenure of head coach George “Best” Nsimbe, parting ways with the tactician alongside his assistant Hamid Kibirango.

In a statement issued by the Bugoloobi-based club, CATDA FC confirmed that the decision to terminate the coaching duo’s contracts was reached by mutual consent and takes effect immediately.

Nsimbe’s spell at the club proved brief, lasting just four months after his appointment in August.

During that period, he oversaw 12 league matches, guiding the side to three wins, seven draws and two defeats.

While the team showed signs of resilience, turning many matches into stalemates, consistent victories proved hard to come by.

As things stand, CATDA FC occupy 10th position on the FUFA Big League table with 16 points from 12 outings, a return the club hierarchy has deemed insufficient to meet their ambitions for the season.

The club is expected to announce interim arrangements and outline the next steps in due course as they seek a fresh direction to revive their campaign.
