Newly-promoted FUFA Big League side CATDA FC has officially unveiled George Best Nsimbe as the club’s new head coach on a two-year contract.
Nsimbe, a seasoned tactician and former Uganda Cranes midfielder, has previously managed top clubs including KCCA, Express, Vipers, Maroons, Kyetume, Tusker (Kenya) and Azam (Tanzania).
He was most recently in charge of Kiyinda Boys FC before becoming a free agent.

His playing career saw him feature for Kampala Capital City, NIC, Red Cross, Wandegeya, and the Uganda Cranes, earning him the nickname “George Best” for his stylish play.
At CATDA, he will work alongside Hamid Kibirango, who led the team to the Big League after a hard-fought 3-2 aggregate win over Super Eagles Lugongwe in the FUFA Regional League promotional playoffs.
Nsimbe’s appointment marks a bold step in CATDA FC’s journey as they prepare for life in the second tier with ambition and experience at the helm.
