Pedro Honjo Chimbiambiulo, famously known as “Sukuya,” has completed a move to Angolan giants Primeiro de Agosto following his departure from Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
As earlier reported by this website, Vipers officially terminated Sukuya’s employment contract last month, bringing his stay at Kitende to an end.
The Angolan attacking midfielder joined the Venoms in July 2024 on a two-year deal, and despite his short spell in Uganda, he leaves with silverware after helping the club secure a domestic double.
Sukuya’s switch to Luanda now marks a return to familiar territory, having previously featured for several clubs in Angola including Wiliete SC de Benguela, Talentos De Benguele, ANZ Desporto Angolano, Domant FC, and Petro de Luanda.

His arrival at Primeiro de Agosto is seen as a major boost as the club continues its push for league glory this season.
Currently, Primeiro de Agosto are placed second on the league standings with 33 points, sitting just three points behind leaders Petro de Luanda, who also have a game in hand.
Primeiro de Agosto remain one of Angola’s most decorated football institutions, boasting 13 league titles and six Angolan Cup trophies.
The club is also remembered in Ugandan football circles after facing KCCA FC in the Preliminary Round of the CAF Champions League in 2017, a tie that attracted huge regional attention at the time.
