Gaddafi FC has officially parted ways with head coach Allan Kabonge after a series of underwhelming performances in the FUFA Big League.
The Entebbe-based club has faced a challenging spell, losing three of their last five matches, prompting the management to make a change in leadership.
Currently sitting second in the league standings with 31 points, Gaddafi FC finds itself four points behind leaders Buhimba Saints United, who have played one more match.
With promotion to the Uganda Premier League as the primary target, the club has decided to take decisive action to regain momentum.

Sources close to the club indicate that Robert Mukasa has been identified as the ideal replacement to take over the coaching responsibilities.
Mukasa is expected to bring fresh ideas and a renewed push towards securing a topflight return.
Nicknamed “The Messiah,” Kabonge is known for his expertise in guiding teams to the Uganda Premier League, having previously achieved promotion with Masavu FC, Onduparaka FC, and Paidha Black Angels.
His tenure at Gaddafi FC saw him manage 17 league matches, securing nine wins, four draws, and four losses.
The team is set to begin life without Kabonge when they take on Calvary FC in an away fixture in Midigo on Sunday, March 30th.
With the race for promotion intensifying, all eyes will be on Mukasa to see if he can steer Gaddafi FC back to the top division.
