KCCA FC Opens Lugogo Gates to Students for Free This Season

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) has rolled out an exciting offer to ignite youthful passion for the game promising free entry for students to all home fixtures in the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season.

In a bold and community-driven move, the 13-time league champions announced that all pupils and secondary school students in uniform, as well as undergraduate university students with valid institutional IDs, will gain free access to the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo. There’s a stylish twist, attendees must don a KCCA FC jersey to enjoy the offer.

“All pupils, secondary school students in uniform, and undergraduate university students with valid institution identity cards and in a KCCA FC jersey will watch our home games for the 2025/26 season for free,” the club confirmed in a statement.

The initiative reflects the club’s renewed commitment to building the next generation of fans and deepening its connection with the city’s youthful population.

With Kampala’s energy and student population forming a big chunk of its fan base, KCCA FC’s gesture is expected to fill the Lugogo terraces with colour, chants, and vibrance.

On the pitch, the Kasasiro Boys have started the season brightly, collecting seven points from four matches.

Their campaign began with a 1-1 draw away to Kitara in Hoima, followed by a thrilling 2-1 win over rivals SC Villa at Namboole.

A goalless draw against Lugazi FC marked their first home outing before edging Express FC 1-0 in Wankulukuku last week.

The team, currently third on the Uganda Premier League table, now shifts focus to their next showdown — a Friday night clash under the floodlights at Lugogo against newcomers Calvary FC.
