Khalid Aucho Speaks Out Following Disciplinary Action in Tanzania

Khalid Aucho has broken his silence following a three-month suspension handed to him by Tanzanian outfit Singida Black Stars.

The club announced disciplinary action against the Uganda Cranes captain, citing misconduct and absenteeism from duty.

The decision sidelines the experienced midfielder for the next quarter of the season in what has become a major talking point among fans in both Tanzania and Uganda.

In a composed response, Aucho defended his character and track record, insisting that professionalism has always defined his journey in the game.

“I have always carried myself with professionalism throughout my career, representing every club with respect and discipline. In all my years in football, I have never been involved in any case of indiscipline because I understand the responsibility that comes with being a professional player,” Aucho stated.

The former Cranes skipper, who has built a reputation as a committed and vocal leader on and off the pitch, also reached out to supporters who have rallied behind him since the news broke.

“To my beloved fans who have always stood by me, this situation will come to pass. Thank you for your continued support,” he added, striking a tone of resilience and optimism.

The suspension casts uncertainty over Aucho’s immediate future at the Tanzanian club, where he has been an influential presence in midfield.

In a related development, Singida Black Stars have also suspended Nigerian goalkeeper Amas Obasogie for three months. The shot-stopper is currently under investigation over allegations of match-fixing, though the club has not released detailed findings as inquiries continue.
