Lugazi FC have completed the signing of midfielder Mukasa Amuli, securing his services on a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until February 2028.
The 2026 arrival becomes the Leaders’ third addition of the mid-season transfer window, following the earlier recruitment of Hamza Mulambuzi and striker Umar Kyebatala.
Mukasa makes the move from FUFA Big League outfit Kiyinda Boys, bringing with him valuable competitive experience and versatility in the middle of the park.
Before his stint at Kiyinda Boys, the industrious midfielder featured for Football Classroom during the ongoing Stanbic Uganda Cup campaign.
His résumé also includes appearances for Ssingo Ssaza in the 2022 Buganda Masaza Cup, as well as representing the Nkima clan in the Bika Bya Baganda football competition, a testament to his grounding in Buganda’s rich football culture.
At Lugazi, Mukasa is expected to reinforce a midfield department that already boasts names such as Dauson Mafumu, Solomon Okwalinga, Derrick Mwanje, Amos Etoju, Mulambuzi, Akiram Massa, David Bagoole and Abdul Kalanzi.
The Lugazi-based side currently sit 10th on the Uganda Premier League table with 18 points and will resume action on Tuesday, 3rd March, with a stern test away to table leaders Vipers SC at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
