Kenyan Premier League outfit Nairobi United have completed the signing of NEC FC left back Mustafa Kizza, with the defender officially unveiled on Monday evening.
Kizza becomes the latest Ugandan player to make the move to Kenya, as Nairobi United continue to strengthen their squad midway through the season.

The club is also understood to be monitoring NEC FC pair Charles Waibi and Titus Ssematimba, with interest in securing the services of the two players still active.
The move adds an interesting twist to recent history between the two clubs. Nairobi United knocked NEC FC out of the CAF Confederation Cup at the preliminary stage last year, a tie in which Kizza featured for the Ugandan side.
Kizza’s career has seen him gain valuable experience both locally and abroad. He rose through the ranks at KCCA FC, earning promotion to the senior team in 2017 after impressing with the club’s junior side.
His performances earned him a move to Major League Soccer outfit CF Montréal in 2020 before he later switched to Portuguese top-flight side Arouca in 2022.
After his European stint, the left back returned home to rejoin KCCA FC, and later crossed to NEC FC where he became a key figure before sealing his latest move to Nairobi.
In the Kenyan Premier League standings, Nairobi United currently sit ninth with 19 points from 11 matches. They have, however, played fewer games than table leaders Kakamega Homeboyz, who top the standings with 24 points after 15 outings, leaving Nairobi United with room to climb the table as the season progresses.
