Mutalaga Reignites Bulemeezi’s Masaza Cup Quest

In a bold move to reignite Bulemeezi’s 2025 Masaza Cup ambitions, celebrated businessman and football patron Frank Mutalaga has bounced back into the limelight as the newly appointed team patron.

His unveiling was followed by an energizing visit to the team’s training base in Kasana, Luweero, where he injected financial motivation by handing out direct cash incentives to the players, a gesture that sparked renewed morale and hunger in camp.

Mutalaga also pledged to wipe out any pending player signing-on fees and significantly enhance matchday allowances, promising a financially stress-free campaign for the boys in blue and white.

Notably, Mutalaga played a pivotal role in Bulemeezi’s historic 2023 triumph, where they dethroned Gomba in a memorable finale at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.

His football influence stretches beyond Masaza football, with his Mutalaga Christmas Cup, a popular off-season grassroots tournament continuing to unearth talent across the Entebbe Road belt.

Bulemeezi, currently placed 5th in the competitive Masengere group with four points, are bracing for a crucial away duel against Bugerere this Sunday, July 27th, in Ntenjeru.

His backing adds to the fresh technical boost brought in by new coaches Alex Isabirye Musongola and Simon ‘Dunga’ Ddungu, as Bulemeezi seeks to build on their past Masaza Cup successes in 2012, 2019, and 2023.
