NEC FC has completed the sensational signing of fast-rising 20-year-old striker Hudson Mbalire, adding firepower to their attacking force ahead of the new season.
The towering forward, known for his lethal finishing and commanding presence in the box, has penned a two-year employment contract with the club.
Mbalire arrives from Wakiso Giants, where he made waves in his debut season in the Uganda Premier League, finding the back of the net six times in 26 appearances a remarkable return for a young talent navigating the top flight for the first time.
His journey to the spotlight began with stints at grassroots powerhouses including Genesis Football Academy, Lamancia FC, and CATDA FC, where he developed his trademark flair and poaching instincts.
The striker’s impressive pedigree also extends to the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup, where he led Buddu Ssaza to a historic third championship crown.
His past Masaza exploits also include standout performances for Kkooki and Bugerere, further underscoring his big-match temperament and consistency.
