With the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League currently on a brief pause ahead of the second round, competitive action now shifts to knockout football as the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 takes centre stage.
The Round of 64 will see all 16 Uganda Premier League clubs begin their Uganda Cup journey, and just like tradition demands, every topflight side will play away from home in a round that is often characterised by shocks, giant killings and unpredictable twists.
Defending champions Vipers SC will start their title defence on Thursday, February 5, with a trip to Lira to face Northern Gateway FC.
On the same day, Express FC, the competition’s record winners, will travel to Pakwach for a meeting with Pakwach Youngsters, while KCCA FC will head to Masindi to battle St. George Masindi.
The action continues on Friday, February 6, featuring several Premier League heavyweights. SC Villa will make the long trip to Pallisa to take on Pallisa Hospital FC, while URA FC face Patongo United in Agago. Maroons, Police, NEC, Kitara, Lugazi, and surprise league package Entebbe UPPC are also among the sides set for challenging away outings.
The Round of 64 will conclude on Monday, February 9, when Premier League side Calvary FC visits Football Classroom at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, in a fixture expected to attract strong attention in the capital.
All matches will kick off at 3:00pm.
