The Uganda Premier League returns with a high-stakes encounter at the Fisheries Ground in Bugonga, where Entebbe UPPC welcome Police FC in one of the headline fixtures of match day seven.
With only a point separating the two sides, victory for either team will catapult them to the summit of the standings.
Entebbe UPPC sit fourth on 10 points but remain firmly within touching distance of the joint leaders, Police and KCCA.
Despite the possibility of climbing to the top, Printers’ assistant coach Godfrey Walusimbi insists the team’s focus is fixed on securing victory rather than chasing early-season table mathematics.
“We are not thinking about going top. Our ambition is to collect the three points,” Walusimbi told the club media. He added that the technical team has spent the past days sharpening the players’ mentality following their 4–2 triumph over Calvary.

On the opposite end, Police FC’s Matia Lule expects a fierce contest but believes his charges are ready to push the limits. “We go there hunting for three points. Achieving that puts us in a strong position to compete for the title this season,” he noted.
The Cops will look to in-form Congolese forward Bedia Ikamba, who has already netted four goals, while also boosted by the return of midfielder Said Kyeyune from injury.
Entebbe UPPC, meanwhile, hope to have attacker Samuel Kawawa fit again to reinforce an attacking line featuring Hassan Ssenyonjo, Isa Bugembe, and Steven Munguchi.
Elsewhere, Calvary will be desperate for their first league win as they host UPDF at Midigo Primary School Grounds in Yumbe.
