UPDF FC have officially unveiled striker Ivan Bogere after the forward put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Bombo-based outfit.
Bogere arrives as a free agent following his departure from Tabora United, ending his stint in the Tanzanian topflight.
The attacker has been training with the Army side in recent weeks, a move that now culminates in a permanent contract as the club seeks to bolster its attacking options.
The 2019 breakout star first captured national attention during his time at Proline FC, where his eye for goal and energetic displays earned him a reputation as one of the promising forwards in the domestic game.

He later featured for both SC Villa and Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League, gaining valuable topflight experience.
At UPDF, Bogere is expected to fill the void left by Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo, who recently completed a move to NEC FC.
His arrival comes at a critical moment for the Army side, who are battling to steer clear of relegation.
Currently positioned 15th on the log with 12 points collected from 17 league outings, UPDF FC are desperate for a resurgence in form as the season approaches its decisive phase.
Bogere could make his competitive debut when Alex Gitta’s men lock horns with NEC FC in the Round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Thursday, 28th in Bombo, a fixture that already carries extra intrigue given the recent transfer activity between the two clubs.
