The 2025/26 Uganda Premier League matchday 10 fixtures continue to yield no victors, with Wednesday clashes producing two more draws, extending the winless trend that began with Vipers’ goalless stalemate on Tuesday.
At Royals Park in Butema, Buhimba United and UPDF FC played out a spirited 2–2 contest, a match punctuated by shifting momentum and a mid-game weather interruption.
UPDF struck first through Ssekamatte Kayongo Samuel, who curled in a superb 20th-minute free kick.
Heavy rainfall forced a 30-minute halt to proceedings, but once play resumed, Edson Agondeze restored parity for Buhimba almost immediately.
UPDF reclaimed the advantage on the hour mark thanks to Daniel Kitara, only for Agondeze, Buhimba’s standout performer to hit back again eight minutes later, ensuring the hosts salvaged a point.
The result lifts UPDF to 11th place on 10 points, while Buhimba sit 14th, also on 10, after 10 outings.
Over in Najjembe, Lugazi FC and Police FC battled to a 1–1 draw at Lugazi Stadium.
The early exchanges belonged to the hosts, and Police goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga had to intervene to stop Freedom Mungdit before the forward turned provider, teeing up Abdul Kalanzi for a composed 36th-minute opener.
Lugazi went into the break in front, with custodian Juma Mutebi preserving their lead through a sharp save against Lawrence Tezikya.
Police, however, gained momentum in the second period, and substitute Emmanuel Mugume restored balance in the 65th minute.
Mugume remained a thorn in Lugazi’s defence thereafter, but the hosts dug deep to secure a share of the spoils.
Police climb to third place on 18 points, while Lugazi drop to 13th, level on 10 with the lower pack.
Matchday 10 action resumes on Thursday, December 11, with Entebbe UPPC hosting Express FC at Bugonga Fisheries Ground at 4 pm.
Later in the night, URA FC travel to face SC Villa under the FUFA Kadiba Stadium floodlights at 8 pm.
