The StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) has officially released the second round fixtures following the successful conclusion of round one of the 2025/26 season.
League action resumes on Thursday, February 12, with matchday 16 spread across three days and concluding on Saturday, February 14, as clubs shift focus to the decisive phase of the campaign.
Tricky Starts for Title Contenders:
Table leaders Vipers SC will kick off their second round with a tricky away test against BUL FC at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Friday, February 13. On the same day, KCCA FC face a stern challenge against Lugogo tenants NEC FC.
A day later, record champions SC Villa take on bogey side URA FC at Nakivubo Stadium, while Express FC host second-placed surprise package Entebbe UPPC earlier in the day in a double-header at the same venue.
Matchday 17 promises further excitement, with Vipers hosting NEC FC on Tuesday, February 17, before KCCA welcome BUL FC to Lugogo on the following day.
On March 6, KCCA will host Police FC, hoping to avenge a 2-0 defeat suffered in the reverse fixture. A day later, city rivals SC Villa and Express FC lock horns at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, in another high-stakes encounter.
Five days later, KCCA and Express renew their rivalry at Lugogo in what is expected to be a season-defining fixture.
April is set to be the most decisive month in the title run-in. The much-anticipated Kampala derby between KCCA and SC Villa takes centre stage on April 11, before Villa host defending champions Vipers a week later on April 18.
Arguably the biggest match of the season follows on April 29, when KCCA host Vipers at Lugogo in a clash that could ultimately decide the destination of the league title.
The league campaign will conclude on May 23, with potential title contenders Vipers, KCCA and SC Villa all scheduled to play at home, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.
