The Uganda Premier League (UPL) Secretariat has unveiled a series of electrifying double headers set to light up the newly refurbished Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo, offering fans a dazzling blend of midweek and weekend football action.
The first showdown is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, promising fireworks as URA FC faces Buhimba United Saints FC in the early kick-off at 5:00 PM, before a heated night encounter between Express FC and Vipers SC at 8:00 PM.
Next in line, the second double header rolls in on Saturday, January 17, 2026, when URA FC takes on Entebbe UPPC FC at 5:00 PM, followed by a classic heavyweight duel, Express FC vs SC Villa, under the Nakivubo lights at 8:00 PM.

The final chapter of this thrilling series arrives on Friday, January 23, 2026, with Express FC clashing against Buhimba United Saints FC at 5:00 PM, paving the way for a grand finale featuring URA FC and Vipers SC at 8:00 PM.
Meanwhile, the UPL Secretariat has also revised the schedule for previously planned double headers on Match Days 9 and 15 to optimize logistics and broadcasting quality. The new fixtures are:
- Express FC vs Calvary FC – Wednesday, December 3, 2025
- URA FC vs Kitara FC – Thursday, December 4, 2025
- NEC FC vs Express FC – Thursday, February 12, 2026
- URA FC vs Police FC – Friday, February 13, 2026
According to the UPL Secretariat, the adjustments are designed to ease fixture congestion, minimize travel fatigue, and synchronize match schedules with television broadcasts and guaranteeing fans an uninterrupted, top-tier football experience throughout the season.
