Allan Kabonge Takes Over as Arua Hill SC Head Coach

Arua Hill Sports Club has officially named Allan Kabonge as their new head coach, ushering in a fresh chapter for the club in the ongoing FUFA Big League campaign.

This announcement follows the dismissal of former tactician Robert Omony along with his entire backroom staff.

Kabonge, a seasoned manager within Ugandan football circles, joins the Kongolo Boys after a recent exit from Gaddafi FC, another side in the second-tier league.

Known for his tactical nous and ability to turn struggling teams around, Kabonge boasts a rich managerial history, having previously overseen sides such as Paidha Black Angels, Onduparaka FC, Arum Roses, and Masavu FC, the latter of which he famously steered to Uganda Premier League promotion.

His coaching résumé also includes spells with Lira United, Impala Hills, and Katwe United.

In the Masaza Cup, Kabonge has taken charge of Busujju and Buwekula, where he gained further acclaim for his strategic approaches on the touchline.

Arua Hill, who are currently battling to avoid relegation, sit second from the foot of the FUFA Big League standings with just 17 points to their name.

Their record includes five victories, two stalemates, and eleven losses. However, they showed signs of resurgence in their most recent outing, securing a hard-fought 1-0 triumph over Kaaro Karungi at the Pece Stadium in Gulu.
