BUL FC delivered a ruthless statement on Thursday afternoon after humiliating Agape United with a crushing 7-0 victory in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 clash played at Kotido Playground.
The Eastern Giants were simply unplayable from the first whistle, tearing through their hosts with devastating pace and precision to book a convincing place in the round of 32.
Striker Seri Arigumaho set the tempo in extraordinary fashion, firing what could be one of the fastest hat-tricks in Uganda Cup history.
Arigumaho struck inside the opening minute, doubled BUL’s advantage in the 4th minute, and completed his treble by the 13th minute, leaving the Kotido crowd stunned and Agape United completely overwhelmed.
With the game already slipping out of reach, veteran forward Karim Ndugwa then took centre stage and turned the match into a personal showcase.
The experienced striker ran riot in the Agape defence, scoring four goals on the day, including a sensational first-half hat-trick that ensured BUL went into the break with an emphatic 6-0 lead.
Ndugwa later added a fourth in the second half to complete a double brace and cap off an unforgettable performance as BUL comfortably cruised to the next stage.
The dominant victory sees BUL FC progress to the round of 32, joining fellow Uganda Premier League sides Vipers SC, KCCA FC, and UPDF FC, who also successfully navigated their round of 64 assignments.
