Kenyan football giants Gor Mahia have officially parted ways with Ugandan forward Charles Bbaale, following a mutual understanding between both parties.
The news was shared through the club’s official X handle on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. In their statement, the 21-time league champions expressed gratitude for the player’s efforts and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
Bbaale joined the Green Army earlier this year with high expectations of adding depth to the attacking line.

However, his stay in Nairobi was overshadowed by a turbulent campaign for K’Ogalo.
Gor Mahia endured a difficult season, missing out on silverware as they finished behind Police FC in the league race and fell short in the Mozzart Bet Cup, losing 2-1 to second-tier side Nairobi United.
The Ugandan striker, who previously turned out for Rwanda’s Rayon Sports and Uganda’s SC Villa, found opportunities limited due to intense competition within the squad.
Despite his evident talent, he was unable to stamp his authority as the club had anticipated.
