FIFA has on Friday, 3rd October 2025 launched the adidas TRIONDA, the Official Match Ball of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The name TRIONDA, translated from Spanish as “three waves,” reflects the unity of Canada, Mexico and the United States, who will jointly host the tournament for the first time.
The ball carries a vibrant red, green and blue colour scheme to honour the host nations, with a unique four-panel wave-inspired design forming a central triangle symbolising their historic partnership.

It also features national icons including Canada’s maple leaf, Mexico’s eagle and the United States’ star, alongside gold embellishments paying tribute to the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
Beyond its striking design, TRIONDA introduces performance innovations such as deep seams for enhanced flight stability, embossed textures for better grip, and embedded connected ball technology with a 500Hz motion sensor to support VAR decisions in real time.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the ball as “a beauty” and praised adidas for creating another iconic design that embodies the passion and unity of the three hosts.
The unveiling follows the release of the tournament mascots, FIFA’s pledge to donate USD 1 per ticket sold to the Global Citizen Education Fund, and news that more than 4.5 million fans entered the Visa Presale Draw.
With qualifiers ongoing and the Final Draw set for 5th December 2025 in Washington DC, excitement for the 23rd FIFA World Cup continues to build, with TRIONDA now at the heart of the journey.
