Gomba Ssaza has confirmed plans to officially unveil the leadership team that will steer the county into the 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup campaign.
The announcement was made by the current committee headed by the Minister for Sports and Recreation in Gomba Ssaza, Kimuli Robert, who revealed that Friday, 13th March 2026 has been earmarked for the grand function.
On that day, the people of Gomba and the loyal supporters will be introduced to the newly constituted executive committee entrusted with guiding the Ssaza’s ambitions in the forthcoming season of the prestigious tournament.
The unveiling ceremony is expected to outline the leadership structure, strategic plans, and the vision set to return Gomba to strong contention in the Masaza showpiece.
The event will be held at the county headquarters in Kanoni, Gomba, famously known as Ku Mbuga y’Essaza, and is anticipated to attract local leaders, sports stakeholders, fans, and well-wishers.
In addition to the committee unveiling, the day will also mark the official launch of the 2026 Kitunzi Cup. The competition, which plays a key role in talent identification and team preparation, will subsequently be staged on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
The dual ceremony underscores Gomba Ssaza’s early preparations and renewed commitment to building a formidable side ahead of the Masaza campaign.
