Express FC have ushered in a new era with the appointment of Jimmy Kintu Mweru as their new head coach, marking the beginning of yet another rebuilding chapter at Wankulukuku.
Kintu’s arrival comes in the wake of Badru Kaddu Mukasa’s exit last week, after the former tactician crossed over to NEC FC.
The Red Eagles wasted no time in finding a replacement, entrusting the reins to Kintu, who recently parted ways with Calvary FC following a 4-2 loss to Entebbe UPPC in Yumbe.
He will be deputized by Richard Malinga, the former Mbale Heroes gaffer, forming a fresh technical duo tasked with reigniting the Red Eagles’ campaign.

Currently sitting 7th on the Uganda Premier League log with eight points from six outings, Express have endured an inconsistent start, winning only two games so far this season.
Kintu and Malinga’s baptism of fire will come right after the international break when the Red Eagles travel to Najjembe to face Lugazi FC, a fixture that promises to test their tactical chemistry and the team’s resolve.
