Jinja-based Bul FC delivered a dominant performance as they thrashed Total FC 7-0 to book their place in the Uganda Cup quarter-finals.
Right from the opening whistle, Bul FC asserted control, creating early opportunities.
In the fourth minute, Jeromy Kirya’s effort narrowly missed the target, while in the seventh minute, a well-placed cross from Mwere was comfortably handled by the opposition goalkeeper.
Despite a spirited defensive display from Total FC, Bul FC continued to press forward. In the 25th minute, Ibrahim Orit came close to scoring, sending his shot just wide following a well-timed delivery from Mwere.
The breakthrough arrived in the 27th minute when Jerome Kirya calmly converted from the penalty spot, giving Bul FC a well-deserved lead.
Just moments later, the advantage was doubled, with Abdulkarim Ndugwa finishing off a brilliant pass from Fredrick Ngalo in the same minute.

As the teams returned for the second half, head coach Abbey Kikomeko opted for a triple substitution, bringing on Reagan Kalyowa, Tom Babalanda, and Isaac Wagoina in place of Ibrahim Orit, Swabiru Mpasa, and Bakali Magumba.
The tactical adjustments paid off instantly. Within two minutes of the restart, Ndugwa netted his second goal of the night, latching onto a sublime assist from Wagoina.
The relentless attack continued, and in the 75th minute, substitute Lawrence Tezikya added the fourth goal for Bul FC.
As the match approached its final stages, Wagoina announced his presence in spectacular fashion, striking home in the 81st minute.

Just two minutes later, young talent Kalyowa Reagan found the back of the net, marking Bul FC’s sixth goal of the evening.
The final flourish came in the 89th minute when Wagoina completed his brace, sealing a resounding 7-0 victory for the Jinja-based side.
