The StarTimes Uganda Premier League rolls into Match Day 13 with pressure mounting at both ends of the table and a packed midweek schedule set to shape the title and survival race.
Action gets underway on Wednesday with three simultaneous kick-offs, headlined by a tense clash in Luzira where Maroons host KCCA.
The Kasasiro Boys arrive eager to bounce back after a shock defeat to Police in their previous outing. A win on the road would see KCCA leapfrog Vipers SC and reclaim top spot, at least temporarily.
However, the task is far from straightforward. Maroons, currently seventh on the standings, have historically been a difficult opponent for KCCA.
The Lugogo-based side will also be boosted by the return of Peter Magambo, back after a long injury spell, and striker Emmanuel Anyama, who is available again following a two-match suspension.

At Kiira Road Arena, Police FC will be eyeing another victory when they entertain Calvary, who remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
The 2005 champions come into the fixture high on confidence after their recent win over KCCA and will start as clear favourites against a Calvary side still searching for their first league win of the season.
Three points would pull the Cops level on points with leaders Vipers, who are not in action until Saturday.
The third Wednesday encounter sees UPDF FC host Entebbe UPPC at Bombo Barracks Grounds. Entebbe UPPC have shown resilience away from home and will look to maintain that trend, but they face a determined UPDF outfit desperate to widen the gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
With only four points separating Entebbe UPPC from the pace setters, Abdallah Mubiru’s men know victory is crucial to keep their title ambitions alive.
The matchday continues on Friday, as BUL FC lock horns with record champions SC Villa at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, before a blockbuster Saturday lineup closes the round.
Saturday’s fixtures include Mbarara City vs Lugazi in Kamwenge, NEC vs Kitara at Lugogo, and Express vs Buhimba United Saints at Nakivubo.
The standout encounter will be the late kick-off at Nakivubo, where URA FC host table leaders Vipers SC in a high-stakes showdown that could significantly alter the title picture.
