In a strategic shake-up aimed at both regulatory compliance and long-term vision, Kitara FC has officially renewed contracts with its technical team, ushering in a new leadership era under the guidance of George William Lutalo.
The announcement, made via the club’s official social media channels, comes just a week after the expiration of the previous contracts.

It marks a proactive step by the Bunyoro-based giants to stay in line with FUFA’s latest directive, which mandates that all Uganda Premier League head coaches must hold a CAF A coaching license.
As part of the restructuring, Lutalo has been elevated to Head Coach, bringing his top-tier experience and CAF A credentials to the forefront.

Meanwhile, the charismatic Wasswa Bbosa, who previously steered the team from troubled waters last season, gracefully transitions into the Assistant Coach role, forming a dynamic duo expected to drive the Royals to greater heights.
The technical reshuffle follows a season of grit and resilience, where Kitara FC recovered from a rocky midseason slump to finish 7th out of 16 teams, accumulating 44 points.
Their spirited comeback under the current contingent earned praise across the league, and the club is now doubling down on technical stability to anchor their rebuild, especially with several key player contracts having recently lapsed.
