Onduparaka FC Stumble at Home as Ntungasaze FC Clinch Vital Win

Onduparaka FC’s struggles in the FUFA Big League deepened as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at home against Ntungasaze FC in a Matchday 19 showdown on Sunday, March 30th.

Despite beginning the season with high hopes of securing a return to the top flight, the Caterpillars have seen their campaign spiral downward, with another disappointing result further denting their aspirations.

The visitors asserted dominance early on, dictating the tempo of the game and forcing Onduparaka onto the back foot.

Ntungasaze’s youthful sensation, James Jarieko, delivered the game’s defining moment in the 25th minute, slotting home clinically to give his side the lead.

Despite a flurry of attacking adjustments from the hosts, their inefficiency in front of goal proved costly, as they failed to convert any of their chances.

With this defeat, Onduparaka FC finds itself teetering on the edge of the relegation battle, languishing in 11th place with 22 points, just a single point above the danger zone.

On the other hand, Ntungasaze FC’s triumph sees them climb to 10th place, also on 22 points, but with a slightly superior goal difference.

Elsewhere, Kiyinda Boys ran riot over Busoga United, sealing a commanding 3-0 victory, Promotion-chasing Gaddafi FC was held to a goalless stalemate by a resilient Calvary FC side while Kaaro Karungi FC edged past Booma FC with a narrow 1-0 triumph and Blacks Power FC registered a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kataka FC.
