Entebbe UPPC FC have strengthened their frontline with the acquisition of striker Samuel Nsubuga from FUFA Big League outfit Wakiso Giants FC.
Nsubuga becomes the first recruit secured by the Entebbe-based side during the ongoing mid-season transfer window, signaling intent as the campaign heads into a crucial stretch.
The club confirmed the development in an official statement, highlighting the forward’s ability to provide fresh impetus in attack.
“We have completed the signing of versatile forward Nsubuga Samuel on an initial short-term contract, strengthening the squad’s attacking options as the season enters a decisive phase,” the statement read.

Entebbe UPPC have largely depended on Ambrose Kigozi for goals this season, with the forward netting nine league strikes so far. Nsubuga’s arrival is expected to ease that burden and offer tactical flexibility in the final third.
Comfortable operating on either wing as well as through the middle, Nsubuga brings dynamism and adaptability to the Printers’ attacking unit. His prior experience includes spells at Lugazi FC and the now-defunct Ndejje University FC in the FUFA Big League.
Meanwhile, Entebbe UPPC are reportedly closing in on additional reinforcements, with former Express FC striker Conrad Ssenjogera and ex-SC Villa midfielder Davis Sekajja said to be in advanced negotiations with the club.
Nsubuga could make his maiden appearance for the Printers when they face Kitara FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Tuesday, 24th February, as Entebbe seek to make a statement in the knockout competition.
