AFC Leopards underlined their title credentials with a ruthless display as they dismantled Tusker FC 4-0 in the headline fixture of round 16 of the 2025/2026 Kenya Premier League played on Sunday, 11th January 2026 at Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.
Ugandan forward Samuel Ssenyonjo was the undisputed hero of the day, producing a sensational hat-trick and an assist to inspire the Ingwe to one of their most dominant wins of the season.
Ssenyonjo announced his presence early, breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute before doubling AFC Leopards’ advantage ten minutes later to hand his side a comfortable 2-0 cushion at the break.

Moments after the restart, the former Express FC attacker turned provider, setting up Ronald Sichenje to make it 3-0 and effectively kill off the contest.
The merciless striker then sealed his treble in the 72nd minute, calmly dispatching a penalty he had won after being brought down in the box, completing a memorable afternoon for himself and the Leopards faithful.
Elsewhere, Posta Rangers and Kariobangi Sharks settled for a 1-1 stalemate. Posta struck first in the 8th minute before Humphrey Aroko leveled matters midway through the first half for the Sharks.
A similar outcome was registered at the Ulinzi Sports Complex where Nairobi United shared the spoils with Ulinzi Stars.
Duncan Omala put Nairobi United ahead inside nine minutes, but Evans Odhiambo restored parity for the soldiers with just over 20 minutes remaining.
In Kisi County, Shabana and record champions Gor Mahia played out a goalless draw in a tightly contested encounter.
Ugandan midfielder Bronson Nsubuga delivered a commanding performance in midfield, proving pivotal in Shabana’s resistance.
