Victoria Sharks Set for High-Octane International Rugby Friendly Against USIU-Africa

The roar of the Sharks is about to echo louder than ever, Victoria University’s own Victoria Sharks Rugby Club is gearing up to host an electrifying international friendly against United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) from Nairobi, Kenya.

The showdown is set for Sunday, 14th September at the iconic Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, a venue that has hosted some of the fiercest rugby battles in the region.

Guided by the tactical brilliance of Coach Kevin Makmot Ivan, the Sharks will use this clash of titans as a perfect springboard in their quest for glory at the upcoming Rugby Uganda Cup this October.

After a spirited season that saw them clinch 5th place in the Rugby 15s League with six triumphant victories, a hard-fought draw, and just four setbacks, the Sharks are hungrier than ever to rise higher.

All eyes will be on Captain Awan David, whose leadership on the field has become the heartbeat of the team, and the dynamic fly-half Epilo Paul, a playmaker ready to unleash his magic.
