FUFA Unveils Provisional 47-Man Squad for FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced a provisional 47-man squad for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, signaling the start of an exciting new chapter for the nation’s rising stars.

Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo has once again been entrusted with steering the young Cranes, assisted by Ronald Ssali, in what promises to be Uganda’s toughest test yet on the global stage.

The technical team boasts experienced minds including Goalkeeper Coach Kenneth Magada, Physical Trainers Simeon Massa and Dennis Kizito, alongside Team Doctors Michael Kamu Guimisiriza and Ivan Kulika, forming a robust backroom unit ready for the challenge ahead.

Uganda finds itself in Group K, drawn against football heavyweights France, Chile, and Canada, a thrilling yet daunting pool that will test the nation’s footballing evolution.

The East African hopefuls earned their ticket to Qatar in unforgettable fashion, edging The Gambia 2–1 in a dramatic playoff in Morocco, courtesy of a sensational James Bogere brace that sealed the nation’s qualification.
