Tunisia have officially unveiled their final 28-man contingent for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, with head coach Sami Trabelsi favouring stability and experience as the Carthage Eagles prepare for another continental challenge.
Trabelsi has restored midfield anchors Ellyes Skhiri and Hannibal Mejbri, both of whom missed recent fixtures signaling his intention to build around a trusted core.
The squad also features seasoned campaigners such as Ali Maâloul, Ferjani Sassi, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, Elias Saad, Sébastien Tounekti, and Seifeddine Jaziri.
However, Swedish-based winger Amor Layouni and AS Monaco youngster Nacim Dendani are the most eye-catching omissions, despite having been involved in previous call-ups.
Tunisia, placed in Group C alongside Uganda, Tanzania, and Nigeria, will be pushing for a second AFCON crown, having last lifted the trophy in 2004.
With a blend of established stars and emerging talent, Trabelsi’s side will be one of the teams to watch in Morocco.
